The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) today launched two new price increases for Doxycycline Hydrochloride Tablets (100 mg and 200 mg) and Chloramphenicol in June 2023, which were announced by the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA). The increase for Doxycycline Hydrochloride Tablets (100 mg and 200 mg) was set at USD 3,059.00 and USD 4,096.00 respectively.
The USFDA issued the following update on May 31, 2023:
The NPPA’s announcement was in line with the latest USFDA policy regarding the price increase in the form of the “New Price Increase”.
According to the New Price Increase, Doxycycline Hydrochloride Tablets (100 mg and 200 mg) is now available to purchase at a price of USD 4,096.00 for a quantity of 10 tablets of 100 mg and 200 mg. The price increase will be applied to all customers who have used the product in the past 12 months.
The price for Doxycycline Hydrochloride Tablets (100 mg and 200 mg) is now being revised to USD 3,059.00 for a quantity of 10 tablets of 100 mg and USD 4,096.00 for a quantity of 10 tablets of 100 mg and 200 mg.
“This is the largest price increase for Doxycycline Hydrochloride Tablets in 2023. It is the largest price increase for Doxycycline Hydrochloride Tablets in US and it will be a great opportunity for all customers who have used the product in the past 12 months. The price increase will be applied to all customers who have used the product in the past 12 months.”

I was at Walgreens and ordered some generic Doxycycline. My local Walgreens was a little different than my local Walmart. It had a little pink pill, and they ordered it from a friend who had been on OTC medications for over a year. My doctor prescribed it and said she was okay with it but she did not have any issues with the pill being too strong or too small. I had a bottle of 50 mg, it worked fine and it didn't look too harsh. She did not like the color, I just tried the color and it just seemed to have a lot of color on it, but she said she was not a fan of the pill being too strong, but she had a little bit of a problem with that color.
I have had some trouble with some generic Doxycycline and it is not as strong as the brand. It was a generic, so it was not a bad thing to have a pill that was strong enough for it to work.
I'm going to give this to my friends and family and they will appreciate it. If it does not work, then maybe another kind of generic would be better. I will be checking them out on their website to see if there is a generic version. I will add that my insurance will pay for the pills if the generic is not covered.
I have been using this for a year now, and have been using it consistently for about 3 months. I did not get the product out of the pharmacy, but the Walgreens was always in my order. The price for the pills was around $50-$100 each, and the price was very affordable. I was told that they had a discount program, but I thought I might have to go to the Walgreens to try to get a discount.

After about 5-6 months I was able to get a good quality bottle, and they were still in the price range. The generic form of Doxycycline cost $6 for 30 pills. I am wondering if the Walgreens is still selling the generic, and they are just looking for someone to go with it. I am hoping they will give me some good reviews of the price, and I will have the drug in my order to try to get it in my pharmacy. The generic version is very expensive, and the price is not even close to what Walgreens is giving me.
I ordered generic Doxycycline. I was told that I should try the brand name, because I would not get it without the brand name. I took the 50mg, but they said it was 2/3rd the price. I went to Walgreens and was told they have a discount. It is not the same as the generic Doxycycline, so I thought I would try the generic. I was given the $50 price and was able to get a bottle for the same price.
I'm going to try the brand name. My doctor told me that it would be great, so I am going to try the generic. I will be looking at the generic. I will also be asking the doctor what they think about it, and she may be able to recommend one of them for me.
